MIAMI, FL (March 3, 2026) – City National Bank of Florida (CNB), one of Florida’s largest banks with more than $28 billion in assets, announced today a new brand ambassador partnership with PGA TOUR professional Nico Echavarria, the recent winner of the 2026 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, as part of the bank’s broader sports strategy focused on excellence, preparation, and community engagement.

Echavarria, a three-time PGA TOUR winner and 2024 Olympian representing Colombia, most recently captured his third TOUR victory at the 2026 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. Following the win, he currently ranks No. 6 in the FedEx Cup standings and No. 34 in the Official World Golf Ranking, reflecting sustained performance at the highest level of professional golf. He competes in a sport where results are shaped by individual decision-making and consistency over time, a perspective that aligns with CNB’s approach to working with clients who value careful planning and long-term outcomes.

“Professional golf puts the responsibility on the individual, from preparation to execution,” City National Bank Vice Chairman and CEO Jorge Gonzalez said. “That perspective resonates with how we work with our clients and how we show up in the communities we serve. Whether someone is competing at the highest level or making important financial decisions, progress is built through steady effort, sound judgment and a long-term view.”

Through the partnership, Echavarria will participate in select client engagements, brand initiatives and community events in West Palm Beach and throughout Florida. His involvement will include appearances tied to professional tournaments, client experiences and outreach efforts designed to engage local communities through the game of golf.

Echavarria has also demonstrated a commitment to giving back through initiatives that support youth golf development and community engagement, using his platform to inspire the next generation of athletes. That emphasis complements CNB’s longstanding commitment to the communities it serves.

The partnership with Echavarria is part of CNB’s broader sports platform, which also includes its role as the Official Bank of the University of Miami and its long-standing partnership with the Orlando Magic. Together, these relationships reflect CNB’s selective approach to sports partnerships that support client and community engagement and community presence across Florida.
